About me...
My name is Maria Jose Baez, I am 34 years old. I live in Santa Rosa, La Pampa. I have been married since 2007 and in September 2010 my daughter was born. Her name is Vicky. I started to learn English at a Private institute when I was 8 years old. I studied English until I finished the secondary. When I found out at "Lenguas Vivas" I started to study to obtain my degree. In my case, virtual education was my best option and a wonderful experience where I met very good classmates. 

 

 I can say that my teaching philosophy has changed over the years and my experience as an educator. What is more, the biggest change I note is in this practical period where I can see students motivated to participate in class, using real language and the most important they enjoy learning!
My main goal is to achieve independent learners capable to think and be critical individuals be able to develop and succeed in life. 

Regarding my teaching responsibilities. I always try to do the best to students can learn. For this reason, I take into account their ages, level, interest, and goals. I also plan the lessons using the communicative approach between others so they can use the language to communicate in a daily, meaningful and relevant way. Then I try to create a comfortable atmosphere of trust where they can participate without fear of making mistakes. I think adults are the greater example they have. For this reason, I consider vital be careful with them especially with children because we never know how to influence our behavior on them. I would like they remember me as a good teacher.
